Kooroora Tennis Club is a thriving tennis club located at 5a William Steet, Roseville, on Sydney’s lower north shore. The Club boasts 6 individually lit and fenced synthetic grass tennis courts with a modern clubhouse, pro shop and attractive garden setting.  In 2008 the Club celebrated its 60th birthday, having been formed in 1948. The name “Kooroora” means “happy meeting place” and was adopted by our founding members. Today’s members still consider that to be a most appropriate name

The Club has approximately 250 members. Different categories of membership are available depending on standard and playing preferences. The Club has a strong history of fostering our junior players, some of whom have gone on to play internationally.

Members participate in both competition tennis and social tennis. Competition tennis is available in competitions run by the Northern Suburbs Tennis Association (NSTA) and in the Metropolitan Badge Competition. Social tennis, supervised by committee members, is available each Sunday afternoon and also on Saturday afternoons while competition tennis is in recess. The club conducts social events from time to time - some with and some without a tennis flavour!
